house warming
Are you ready to make your friends' new home even more fabulous?
Of course, you are!
Fear not, my gift-giving-challenged friend, for I have done the dirty work for you. I've put together a list of housewarming gifts so incredible, your friends will forget that they ever had to pack and move in the first place.
HAND SPA
01
This present could very well suit every list but in this one is just making it straight to the top! Your friends just moved in and realistically need to sort out a million things, get a million things. Why not gifting them a small spa moment with amazing smell, and a signature look. Yes, you are right, there is just one products that checks all these boxes.
KIMONO
02
I can guaranteed, when your friends moved in that couch their very first thought was: “Oh! Having a coffee there on Sunday morning!” What can be better than that? Drink that coffee/tea while wearing a soft and light piece of patterned fabric, perfectly made to wrap you into safety. Best present I recieved for a long time and highly recommended. Thanks MJN!
GRINDER SET
03
Getting practical with this one: Again, your friends are busy sorting things out. So why not gift them something that will make their dinners stylish and easy in the long run? The most overlooked of the kitchen ware is the salt and pepper grinder and this one is just so so beautiful and minimalistic.
FLIP CLOCK
04
Do you know what is the most commonly replaced item by your smartphone? Clocks! Of course you can check the time precisely on your phone now but there is a charm to the wall clock. When mine broke i kept looking towards its old position for weeks after it was removed. It is something that becomes parts of the house. If you do not have one at your own house, maybe consider gifting this to yourselves too ; )
MULTIPLUG
05
Its a matter of time till your friends need more of electricity somewhere. So before they end up buying plain boring white miltisockets get them this beauty here! Has USB and normal sockets and looks like a cats toy. They will love it! Excepts if they have cats and then it might be a bit of a problem...

GREENERY
06
Flowers and Plants make always for a great present! If you want your gift to stick around for a while longer, a nice indoor plant is what you are looking for. I would recommend blindly a snake plant, as they barely need any maintenance, they look great AND they are oxygen plants, making them ideal for indoors! Of course, there is a lot to be said about plant types, conditions, maintenance, etc. so if in doubt, i think the easiest is going down to the nearest flower shop and ask for recomendations and tips.
Support your local florist, who has great suggestions too!
SMART CORK OPENER
07
Back to the practical presents with one I would love to receive soon: the smart cork opener. My dad was gifted one (see Dad’s gifts) and he loves it ever since. am I the only one struggling here? But with this you only need one light movement to open the bottle of wine! After using it, it will be impossible to go back to the manual openers. So experience and lazyness guarantee this to be a perfect gift.

DON'T GIFT KNIVES
08
I know its just a superstition. Where did it came from? Actually various cultures due to the belief that knives are tools that can cause harm and bring bad luck. In Japan, for example, it is considered taboo to give knives as gifts, as it is believed that it can lead to a severed relationship between the giver and the recipient.
So just to be on the safe side… don’t gift knives!
ORANGE PRESS
09
An orange press makes for a perfect housewarming gift. It's a classy and elegant addition to any kitchen, and it's the gift that keeps on giving - not only does it provide delicious and juice, but it's also a great excuse to invite friends over for a fresh morning mimosa!
And let's be honest, nothing says "I'm a sophisticated adult" like a fancy orange/lemon press.

THE BEST VOUCHER
10
Dear readers, if you are coming to my housewarming, this is the perfect gift for me:
A simple shopping voucher. Easy!
And most would agree that amidst all the new fittings, sofa, curtains and whatever else needed to make a place feel like home, make their life easier with a nice (preferably generous) voucher to a leading online shop.
Each country has its own so I wont bore you with the details.
